Condition
Please note that this work is framed, mounted and glazed. Please note that the work is loose within its frame and would benefit from being reframed. There are surface marks as well as foxing throughout the work as well as extensive staining due to exposure to moisture which has permeated into the paint layers. There are areas of loss to both the paper and paint surface visible along the lower framing edge, the largest area being within the lower left hand corner of the work where the paper meets the mount. There is also a pinhole to the lower centre of the work and a further area of loss behind the central figures thigh, as is visible in the catalogue illustration. The paper exhibit slight warping.
