Condition
The original canvas has been relined. The paint surface has been slightly pressed, however detail is well retained and colors are strong. There are two thin pieces of wood that have been affixed to the sides of the frame at right and left sides to enable the canvas to fit into the current frame. These have been painted to blend in with the composition (as visible in the catalogue image). Under UV light: there are some scattered retouches in the dark background. The flowers generally look good. Offered in an ornate carved and gilt wood frame.
