The sheet has been fully laid down onto the aluminium and all elements of relief appear secure. There are two very small, faint cracks to the extreme lower left corner and one tiny fleck of loss to the upper left corner. There is one small scratch to the outline of the book, at the lower right corner of the right hand page of the open spread in the red pigment, and one or two very faint scuffs in the outlines to the black pigment at the top of the globe, only visible upon very close inspection. There is some surface dust and dirt throughout, particularly at the extreme edges. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light appears to show no obvious signs of retouching. The work is unframed.
