Condition
Overall in very good condition consistent with age and gentle use. The wood surfaces present with minor scuffs and surface scratches concentrated to the seat and bases of the legs. The front proper left edge of the seat with a scratch which measures approximately 8 in. (20.5 cm) and a shallow dent which measures approximately 1 in. (2.5 cm) and neither are visually disruptive. The rear proper left edge with a hairline crack that radiates from the third backrest spindle to the underside of the seat, is consistent with the age and material, stable and not visually disruptive. The proper right edge of the seat is consistent with the age and material, stable and not visually disruptive. The proper right rear of the seat with a few filled areas which are inherent in its production. A beautiful example of this iconic design.
