Condition
Overall in very good condition consistent with age and gentle use. The wooden surfaces present with very minor wear, with scattered scuffs and scratches concentrated to the underside of the bases and bottom interiors of each. The edge of one panel at the join of one handle with a chip which measures approximately 1/2 in. (1.3 cm) and a minor seam split to the handle approximately 3:4 in. (2 cm) are stable and not visually disruptive. The bottom edge of the rosewood example with a minor repair to the veneer measuring approximately 1/4 x 5/8 in. (6 mm x 1.5 cm) and is not visually disruptive. A classic example of Norwegian mid century design.
