The recessed areas of the design with traces of some silver polish residue and tarnish, not visually distracting. The surfaces also present with minor dents throughout, most visible to the underside of the lid, likely inherent to the design and present from the time of production. The bottom right corner of the lid with a small loss to the raised metal decoration, measuring approximately 3/8 x ¼ in. The enamel with some hairline cracks, and the central enamel element with a small loss measuring approximately ¼ x 3/8 in. The interior of the box with some silver polish residue and tarnish, which could be removed.
