Condition
This work is in good condition overall. The media layer is stable, and the colors are vibrant. A transparent mustard-colored vertical drip accretion is present in the upper center quadrant, measuring one inch in length. Two fine horizontal lines of craquelure are present in the upper right and central quadrants of the work, measuring four and seven inches in length respectively; these lines correspond to the grain of the wood underneath. The wooden support itself is worn and presents six pinpoint holes, two in the upper quadrant and four in the lower right quadrant, which appear to be inherent. IN the lower half of the work, white pinpoint drip accretions are present throughout. The grain of the wood is visible throughout, which appears to be inherent to the media selected and the artist's working method.
