The abrashed medium blue field with rust-red and pale blue medallions, cream arabesques and vinery within a red floral cartouche border, joined.
Condition
Uneven wear as appears to have been used on stairs; glued on both ends on reverse, sides later overcast; areas worn to knotheads and foundation with small reweaves, alternate areas with near original closely sheared pile; slit on one end, surface dirt, will enhance with cleaning and some restoration; good dense weave, soft wool.
