Condition
Good impression, visible staining and faded colour. Centre creasing, repairs to corners, some foxing. Print is backed onto card.

The print is part of an untitled series of courtesans compared to flowers. There are two examples in the Museum of Fine Arts Boston (accession numbers 11.14315 and 21.6462) also with no publishers mark. An example in the Honolulu Museum of Art (object number 24515) has the publisher’s mark of Maruya Jinpachi.
