the blade: hira-zukuri with bo-hi on both sides, a narrow midare hamon the koshirae: the gnarled wood koshirae inlaid in silver, copper and gilt with millipedes, snails, slugs and snakes, the fuchi kashira with grasshoppers amongst flowers and grasses, the menuki formed as snakes, sentoku kozuka in the form of a bamboo node

Condition

The koshirae is in good condition and the blade is somewhat rubbed overall and signed Kanesada very faintly.
