Condition
The lacing has old wear and is detached in some places. The brocade of the sleeves is well-worn. The velvet edging has some moth damage and is frayed around the edges. The lacquer to the sode has some old chips, some of the cords are frayed. Helmet- The lacquer helmet bowl has some old damage and surface wear, particularly to the peak as can be seen in the illustration. The felt on the shikiro and skirt is moth eaten, the mempo has some slight cracks to the black lacquer. Please note all armours by the nature of their use and age have some old wear overall. The armour box has old wear and damage consistent with the age and use of the object.
