the helmet in the form of an eboshi [court cap] lacquered in sabiage style, the waki-date of stag antlers, the mabisashi with embossed eyebrows, the fukigaeshi with choban mon, the black-lacquered menpo with a three-tier yodase-kake and four-tier shikoro, the cuirass black-lacquered, chu-sode and upper sode of kittsuke-zane lacquered black and gold, with green, red, white kebiki-odoshi lacing, hyotan-gote with linked chain, gold-lacquered shino sune-ate

Condition
The lacquer to the helmet bowl is cracked and repaired. There is some wear to the silk basing to the shikiro. The silk of the skirt is well-worn, frayed and torn in places. The lacquer to the mempo has some slight cracks. The do is in fair condition with some old wear. The other components have some slight chips to the lacquer and minor fraying to the lacing. Please note all armours by the nature of their use and age have some old ware overall. The armour box has old ware and damage consistent with the age and use of the object.
