There are signs of old surface rust to the helmet bowl as can be seen in the illustration. The lacquer to the shikiro has old chips and wear and some restoration to the underside. There are some slight chips to the mempo, and slight cracks and small lacquer losses to the skirt. The do- There is some old damage to the stencilled leather in the top of the do. There is some old wear and damage to the blue lacing, particularly on the skirt. The silk brocade in the sleeves has some old wear. Overall the ties are somewhat worn. There are some repairs to the black lacquer. Please note all armours by the nature of their use and age have some old wear overall. The armour box has old wear and damage consistent with the age and use of the object.
