Condition
Overall very good condition. The shades are in very good condition and display an elongated, slender dark green pulled feather decoration against a highly unusual vibrant yellow ground. The shades each with scattered minute air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually detractive, and with some expected extremely minor flea bites around the upper apertures. The patinated bronze surfaces display a rich green and brown patina, with some minor surface scratches, abrasions, and light surface soiling to the recessed contours of the design consistent with age and gentle handling. The outer edge of the base cushion with a very small and minor white accretion approximately 1 inch to the right of the cord outlet. The outer edge of the base cushion with two small indentations, the larger measuring approximately 1 inch wide. A beautiful example displaying a very rare set of colored and decorated Lily shades, formerly from the collection of the Garden Museum.
