The necklace composed of alternating black and white baroque cultured pearls measuring approximately 16.0 x 16.8 to 14.0 x 15.6 mm, capped and interspersed with gold scalloped and braided accents, length 15½ inches; and a pair of matching earclips, with detachable cultured pearl pendants; signed Webb.
Condition
In good condition, with very minor surface wear to the mounting, and one black pearl with a hairline fracture, not noticeable when worn. Necklace and earclips stamped 18K. The black cultured pearls are of medium to light grey body color, with moderate to strong rose and green overtones. The white cultured pearls with soft to strong rose and green overtones. The cultured pearls are of baroque form, with blemishes such as growth marks and ringing, and present a satin-like to high luster. The baroque cultured pearls on the earclips measure approximately 15.4 x 15.4 x 18.9 mm (black pearl); 15.3 x 15.0 x 18.6 mm (white pearl). Necklace clasp closes securely. Total gross weight 124 dwts. Lengths of earrings approximately 1¾ inches.
