PAIR OF NATURAL PEARL AND DIAMOND EARRINGS, LATE 19TH CENTURY

描述

Each composed of a circular-cut diamond surmount supporting a drop-shaped natural pearl measuring approximately 13.3 x 12.6 x 8.7 and 13.3 x 12.1 x 10.3mm respectively, with rose diamond-set caps, post and butterfly fittings.

Condition

Accompanied by GCS report no. 78156-14, stating that the pearls are natural, saltwater, with no indications of treatment. Pearls of irregular shape, cream body colour, light green and yellow overtones, typical blemishes and irregular surface, one pearl with dimple close to diamond cap, the other with loss of nacre, some pitting and light scratches. Diamonds bright and lively, circular-cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.80 carats. Scratches and discolouration to metal surfaces consistent with age and wear. Overall in good condition. Total gross weight approximately 7.3 grams
