Millegrain-set with rose diamonds, on a blue enamel ground, dial applied with Arabic numerals, to a long chain designed as a series of blue and white enamel links, length approximately 825mm, mechanical movement signed Le Coultre, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Please note that this watch was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Manual winding movement, not working at the time of cataloguing. Movement signed LeCoultre & Co., interior of case numbered 37509, maker's mark SG with key for Société Générale Or, French horse head assay mark for 18 carat gold. Dial with some black discolouration. Crystal intact. Enamel generally in very good condition, some small chips to areas of blue enamel on three links, some misfiring of white enamel borders creating areas of discolouration. Diamonds bright and lively. Diameter of watch including case approximately 26mm. Gross weight approximately 42 grams. Light scratches to metal, enamel and glass consistent with wear. Overall in good condition.
