Claw-set with a cushion-shaped purple sapphire, framed by brilliant-cut and tapered baguette diamonds, size N, British hallmarks.
Condition
Stamped with London hallmarks, 18 carat gold, date letter for 2013 and sponsor's mark AN. Purple sapphire measuring approximately 9.40 x 9.00 x 5.00mm, pink purple, transparent, some typical inclusions visible under magnification, some surface reaching, a few minor fractures, chips, some rubbed facet edges and light scratches to stone surfaces. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.00 carats in total, estimated clarity SI2, some I, colour variations. Light surface scratches to metal. Overall condition good.
