Condition
Overall good condition consistent with age and use. The iron presents with oxidation and traces of rust, the later being mostly concentrated to the edges and the lower half of the piece, visible on the catalogue illustration. There is a thin vertical crack on approximately 18 cm from the top of the fireback with previous small attempts to stabilize it. A small element of approximately 2,5 x 2,5 x 0,3 cm has most likely been previously re-glued on the proper left side.
