This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. There is evidence of minor wear and handling to the corners and turning edges. There is evidence of surface soiling throughout and a few minor surface scuffs. The distressed and aged appearance of the canvas as well as the pigment and texture irregularities are consistent with the artist's working method and choice of medium. There are a few, scattered soft minor protrusions from the stretcher bar along the top perimeter of the work. There is evidence of minor pigment separation to the blue pigment areas. There are a few scattered surface scuffs, scratches and losses to the pigment which are possibly due to the artist's choice of medium and working method. There are a few areas of stable craquelure in the white pigment which are likely from the time of execution and also consistent with the artist's working method and choice of medium. There is stable craquelure along the turning edges, only visible under very close inspection. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.
