This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. There is scattered pigment separation particularly in the heavily impastoed areas, due to the artist’s working method and choice of medium,. Under close inspection, there is some very minor, scattered stable hairline craquelure to the areas with heavier impasto. There is evidence of light handling and surface soiling to the perimeter and white areas of the composition. There are a few scattered areas of stray media to the work due to the artist’s working method. There is a minor organic accretion in the central area of the canvas. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed under glass.
