Condition

The panel is in very good condition. The white painted panel displays an aged surface with a paint layer that is tightly bound with the exception of two horizontal cracks (1/2", 3/4") on the left side of the panel. The panel exhibits minor soiling especially on the sides. Some of the dowels have rubbed edges and minor paint loss that is consistent with its age. Minor inpainting was observed on the tips of the dowels where previous losses occurred. The panel is structurally sound with no evidence of significant damage or dimensional changes in the wood.
