woven in light green and golden yellow on a red ground with a vertical row of large tulips emanating from stylised pomegranates which in turn stem from a fountain, bird and quadruped motifs in between, mounted on silk covered canvas
Condition
The textile bright, upper left-hand corner torn and re-stitched, in two sections joined together horizontally, the edges unevenly cut, vertical tears and associated consolidation, wear generally as consistent with age, set onto modern silk-covered canvas, as viewed.
