the jade hilt with three buds at the pommel, carved throughout with leafy and foliate details, double-edged steel blade with central ridge, velvet-covered wood scabbard with metal terminal 

Condition

The carved jade wilt with minor encrustations within the interstices, natural inclusions to jade, the upper section may have possibly been re-attached, notably central bud which has residues of adhesive, the hilt with scuffs and minor patches of oxidisation, the blade and scabbard possibly later marriages, the scabbard worn with rubbing to velvet as consistent with age and use, as viewed.
