Very good condition overall. As visible on the catalogue illustration both legs are broken but very well patinated. Beautiful dark brown patina.

Les instruments de musique sont donc des œuvres d’art à part entière et font l’objet d’un soin très particulier. Si les bouchons de flûte aviformes sont fréquents (Kelm, Kunst vom Sepik, 1966, vol. 1, n° 235 et 236), celui-ci se singularise par l’association du corps humain à la tête d’un oiseau.
