The board is stable. Examination under UV light reveals a spot of retouching to the upper left corner, some additional lines and dots of retouching along the extreme edges and a few further smaller dots of retouching in the upper right quadrant. There is some frame rubbing along the extreme edges. This work is in overall good condition.

The subject of this still life was used again in a detail of the right side panel of the Bénédicité in the dining room of the villa Silencio that the painter had bought in Perros-Guirec in 1908
