The colours are fairly accurate in the printed catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is slightly softer in the original work. The edges of the canvas are covered by the frame. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The thicker impastos present some hairline stabilised cracks. A tiny loss is located on the lower half of the painting on a yellow impasto and is visible upon very close inspection only. The reverse of the canvas reveals a tiny restoration in the lower left quadrant, not visible in the front of the work.
