Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The wood surfaces with some minor scuffs, scratches, wear, and gentle fading throughout, consistent with age and use. The wood-veneered frame directly beneath the drawer units of both tables with minor isolated losses, the largest to one table measuring approximately 1/8 x 1 inch. The proper rear right leg to one table with two hairline cracks radiating vertically from the bottom of the drawer unit, each measuring approximately 2 ¼ inches, both stable. The hides of both tables with rubbing and wear throughout that in some instances reveals the natural hide below, the largest instance located on the proper front right panel of one table measuring approximately 3 ¼ x 5 ½ inches. The hide to the top of the other drawer unit with some lifting to both sides. The hide to the proper left side of the same drawer unit with a few isolated areas of lifting and two losses, the larger measuring approximately ¾ x 1 inch. The drawer handles to both tables are missing. The metal feet with scattered surface scratches and some oxidation throughout. A chic and playful pair of side tables representative of French mid-century design.
