Condition
Overall in very good condition. The marble surfaces with a very minor surface scratches and some small instances of discoloration throughout, consistent with age and gentle use. The edges and corners with a few abrasions and some minor wear, the largest abrasion located to the lower edge of one lamp measuring approximately 3/8 inch long. The brass elements with some scratches and oxidation throughout, consistent with age and use. Please note Sotheby's does not guarantee the functionality and/or the voltage compatibility for electrical wiring, and suggests having all electrical components inspected by a licensed electrician. The shades present with some areas of fading to the color from light exposure. An attractive pair of lamps that exemplifies the designer’s Neoclassicist influences.
