Condition

Overall in very good condition. The bamboo elements with minor isolated fine hairline cracks inherent in the material and consistent with age. The desk’s wooden surface top and drawer liner with scattered minor surface scuffs and scratches. The latter with isolated ring marks and spotting concentrated to the proper left side, the largest measuring approximately 3 inches. diameter. The leather surfaces are later replacements and present with minor scuffing and rubbing. The metal elements with minor oxidation. The chair with minor lifting to the bamboo to the base of the rear proper left leg, measuring approximately 1 x 1 inch. The leather appears to be original and presents with minor cracking to the upper portions of the backrest and edges of the seat. With the exception of the rear of the backrest and trim on the lower portions of the frame, the leather is slightly dry. The edges of the seat also with minor isolated losses concentrated to the proper right edge, all consistent with age and gentle use. A beautiful mid century French set in very good condition.
