  • 26 by 27.5 by 9.5 cm.
carved on one side in low relief with a maenad moving to right and holding a tympanon, the folds of her garment bellowing at her side, and on the reverse in high relief with the remains of a winged gorgoneion; no restorations.

Condition

As shown and described. Surface worn on both sides, and with minor chips and abrasions. Maenad side: carved in low relief, surface chipped and repolished, more abraded on face. Reverse in worse condition, with facial features of gorgoneion very abraded.
