Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There are some fine, scattered lines of hairline craquelure which appear to be stable and some small areas of draying craquelure are also visible, notably in the upper and lower right corners. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals no visible sign of retouching. This work is in good condition and is ready to hang. Presented in a simple gilt frame with a grey inner slip.
