Overall the condition of the marble is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. One of the wings is partially restored. There is also a small restoration to the edge of another wing. There are a few very small chips and abrasions, including to the edges of the leaves. There is some stable splitting to the wood frame, consistent with the material. There is also minor evidence of past worming to the wood frame.
