Oil on relined canvas. The canvas has a wax relining and appears to have a new stretcher. The paiting surface has flattened craquelure and stertcher bar marks visible. Minor surface dirt but in overall good condition. Under UV light, the varnish has been selectively cleaned, including the upper right corner, the central lower edge and the bird at center left. There is inpainting to address craquelure visible throughout; there is also a line of inpainting visible in the lower right corner and some minro dashes of inpaint to strengtehn the dark shadows.
