蕭勤旺盛的創作力，不僅映現在其多元的繪畫面貌中，也顯現在他應用在不同媒材的探索及實踐上。此次《往永久的花園10》是鑲嵌壁畫系列創作，蕭勤使用帶著炫目光芒的玻璃馬賽克，畫幅中對比的色彩，如宇宙銀河一般，亦帶著中國陰陽對應的哲思。使用玻璃馬賽克的媒材，作品整體的效果因立體材質的飽和與色彩的艷麗，且具有光澤的特性，使作品的的層次感更豐富，亦賦予畫作有著源源不絕的能量。蕭勤將內在的精神世界與遼闊無垠的宇宙時空連結，是處於一種精神性、超越時間語空間的限制，將他的東方世界觀注入更多的人間情感。
