In good overall condition, however some evident wear throughout. The black enamel on the 2 round terminals is intact and in good condition, one of the terminals is slightly loose, with an area of wear and small chips to one end. The other black areas on the jabot pin are black lacquer, which is likely a later repair skillfully done and noticeable only on the outer ring on the reverse, where previous enamel was damaged. Cartier Paris signature is very worn and barely legible, located by where the jabot pin is hinged. Numbered 01240. French assay mark for 18 karat gold. Partial French workshop mark located on stem of jabot pin, stem tests as platinum. The coral beads range from a medium-deep orange to slightly reddish orange with evidence of minor pitting and some lighter color mottling throughout. The diamonds are estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.60 carats and range from approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity with the largest stone graded as SI-I clarity. Dimensions approximately 3 1/2 x 2 1/8 inches. Please note this property cannot be shipped internationally due to endangered species materials.
