Condition
Accompanied by Gübelin reports numbered 0904146 and 0904165, both dated 11 May 2009, stating that the 1.71ct and 1.74ct marquise shaped alexandrites are natural and of Brazilian origin. Reports also state that the alexandrites display a pronounced colour-change of bluish-green in daylight and purple in incandescent light. For further details, please refer to reports.
Stamped AU750 and PT950 for 18 karat white gold and platinum mounting. Side alexandrites, stated to weigh approximately 8.48 carats are loupe clean and exhibit a strong colour change effect from medium dark bluish-green colour of strong saturation in daylight to medium purple colour of strong saturation in incandescent light. Diamonds stated to weigh approximately 1.43ct are on average E to F colour, mostly VS clarity as gauged and graded in the mounting. Metal in very good condition.
