Condition
The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Case in overall good condition with signs of polish and wear. Stainless steel area on right side lug with some material inconsistencies and oxidation. Scuffing and marks to the case bands. coin edging on case back with wear and scuffing. Outside case back signed STAINLESS STEEL R.W.C. 299515. Dial in poor condition with heavy oxidation, marking, and wear consistent with age. Lighter dial area surrounding the applied indexes. Oxidation to the applied indexes and hands. Movement in overall good condition with some aging. 14K American market buckle with large coronet and signed Rolex 14K.
