In mostly good condition but with a few fine russet-toned fissures ascending from the base and another along the crest of the mountain (length approx. 4 cm). A few minute nicks to the various protruding edges (including a 3-mm chip to the edge of the lotus leaf), and mild surface wear commensurate with age. An old auction label adhered to the base: "Sotheby's New York 38". Please note that this lot includes a stand, frame or other component made from a type of Chinese hardwood, which, if exported, will require a CITES permit to leave the United States.
