傅抱石 致錢君匋信札

款識：
豫堂吾兄惠鑒，
承教，所論甚是，中國今日西歸之作家，如移接未善，長成花來，恆失本性。此蓋由哀落太久，而又缺乏美術觀念所致。清通袛能寫信，如著書立說，雖假一冊算術教科書，亦須斟酌字句，以歐洲論殆莫不然，所謂名山事業，非可造次也，尊處焉能從意，于此極表同情，惟必須態度謙和，徵得著者同意，因居外留學久者，除如精衛輩，人皆以求新知為務，有十年不接近中國語言文字者，其對於國文之荒蕪，自無待言，一日握筆，寧能如意。此固不能責人，留學生即以嚴又陵而論，彼之〈天演論〉亦非乍自英倫返國所能譯至如此，所謂聖人無全能也。
矦君書當轉去，來書法甚美，以出有意，書價不日如命，欲行近祉，弟傅抱石頓首
