吳湖帆題識

題識：
此海昌錢君鏡塘所集〈百梅圖冊〉之一，壬午之秋得於褚禮堂丈遺笈中，蓋絕筆也。未經署款，補鈐朱記，索吳湖帆題記以證之。

鈐印：
〈褚〉 「褚德彝」、「松窗」。
〈吳〉 「倩盦書印」。

註：鄭逸梅記錢鏡塘茂名路寓所琳瑯滿目皆為畫，隨季節更迭替換題材，每當春梅綻放，室內即四墻梅花。其庋藏中，名家畫梅、詠梅書畫頗多，應即吳湖帆跋中所言錢氏有意搜集之〈百梅圖冊〉。

此幅乃四二年褚德彝去世當年，錢鏡塘求得於褚家後人，補鈐其印，復請湖帆題跋而成。老枝枯筆遒勁，新梅圈寫玉潤，褚德彝嗜古博物，精於考鑒，筆下自流露金石氣。
