鄧芬 春風白馬訪瓊樓

己亥十月，啓雲學寫柳，因以韋莊詞意「騎馬倚斜橋，滿廔紅袖招」句畫為日課。曇殊從心芬識在香港阿賴邪室。

據藏家一九七一年十二月底筆錄之收藏清單，本幅列為「上品」，以港幣三千元購得

上款：「啓雲」即仇啟雲，廣東寶安人。出生上海，嗜愛藝術，少好繪畫。適旅加拿大華僑順德陳達明醫生，得其大力支持藝事，定居香江後，從劉醴平、梁伯譽習人物、山水畫，亦師凌巨川研習國學。一九五八年六月，經許菊初之介，投鄧芬門下深造。為隆重其事，大排筵席，行弟子跪叩大禮，不少旅港書畫金石名家如李鳳公、張谷雛、黃般若、楊善深、張韶石、趙少昂、馮康侯等，皆在應邀之列，殊為當年藝壇之盛。仇氏人物、山水、花鳥皆擅，亦好作瓷碟畫。翌年年底，在花園道聖約翰副堂舉行個展。

註：一九五九年，仇啟雲籌辦個展，本幅寫於展前，按題跋所示，鄧芬藉此授畫柳之法，供其日課學習，取韋莊詞意入畫。祇見春柳列岸，煙籠霧鎖，俊人揚鞭策馬，跨橋越林，蹄聲破寂，雀驚高飛，正是應約往訪之景，招邀者，紅袖結伴，瓊樓踞坐，遠候踐約來訪之人。鄧芬鮮寫大幅，如此六尺鉅製，卻經營得法，佈局井然，情境交融，皆呼應詩意而生，寫人寫景，細緻處，如白馬、樓閣、圍牆，竹簾、以至渚邊嫩草、細枝繫蕊，無不刻劃精微，而湖面澄澈，春霧迷離，皆出諸薄染，清麗自然，足見畫家處理之用心。
