Condition
Good impression, colours a little toned and faded as expected (red sky and yellow boats), yet remaining rather fresh overall. Some soiling and flattened central fold. There are two small repaired holes to the lower right corner.

此乃葛飾北齋最享負盛名之浮世繪，描寫富士山前，巨浪翻騰，捲起千堆雪，欲噬航船，其佈局創新，啟迪此後歷代藝術家，影響無遠弗屆，在現代藝作中極具代表性。巨浪洶湧，彷彿呼應十九世紀歐洲風景畫所繪、大自然那澎湃之勢。前景且又疊翻細浪，狀如嶽，與遠山相輝映，這佈局在同系列版畫中屢有出現，在北齋筆下已成經典。此乃早期藍摺繪版本，狀況尤佳，天上輕描淡紅雲朵，大多版本未能複印，幸見於此，殊為難得。
