白玉質，帶小沁斑。立體圓雕，山石為地，樹幹有勁，下棲雙鹿。雄鹿後腿蹲臥，昂首回望；雌鹿挺立回望。三角形眼，鹿頭有角，數點紅沁點綴其間，別有情趣。

「秋山」紋飾，反映了當時遼金王朝遊牧民族狩獵場景，為帝王取樂的方式之一。工匠把當代的生活、特色反映在玉器之上，趣意盎然。
