Condition
Overall in good condition. Very minor, light foxing scattered throughout each image, which can be improved with restoration. Each scroll includes an uninscribed inscription panel on gold-flecked paper at top and is mounted on silk, as designed by the artist. Hanging scroll size: 223 x 70 cm; 87 3/4 x 27 1/2 in.

出生於1955年的台灣，于彭在世界範圍內獲得讚譽已有三十餘年。他曾師從陳一耕，並自學過包括泥塑、木板版畫、油畫及水墨等在內的眾多藝術媒材。于彭二十歲時入伍，從此遊覽各地，並成為台灣著名的街頭畫家。 1981年, 他遊覽了中國大陸的眾多古蹟, 燃起了對中國傳統的濃烈興趣並專注於水墨的創作。于彭藉以他離經叛道的筆法，拙樸而不合邏輯的佈局，顛覆水墨畫傳統。在他生動的山水畫卷中，人物與動物隨性點綴其中, 帶領觀者進入一個無邪而疏遠的世界。于彭的作品曾於世界各地著名藝術館舉辦眾多個展與群展，包括：荷蘭格羅寧根博物館、澳大利亞當代藝術美術館、台灣國立清華大學美術館、 東京國立美術中心、上海博物館、 台北美術館、台灣當代藝術館、香港藝術中心，以及其他亞洲、歐洲和美國地區畫廊。
