The following drawings are connected with decorations in the Palazzo Pitti, Florence. A-D are by Agostino Mitelli and can be directly connected with his decorations of the Grand Dukes' Audience Chamber and the Private Audience Chamber, painted between 1636 and 1641. Dr. Marco Chiarini has previously pointed out that E, F, G and H do not correspond exactly to existing frescoes but that I might be a preliminary idea for the Private Audience Chamber. Dr. Chiarini also suggests that J-N are by Jacopo Chiavistelli, as they are all related to his frescoes in other ground floor rooms of the Palazzo.
