Mounted in silver. Central cluster inscribed "Robt Denison Esq", "Died 20 March 1785" and "Aged 62", adapted from a late 18th century mourning ring with partial late 19th century brooch fittings to the reverse, pin deficient. Each floral jewel with a late 19th century detachable brooch pin, all three jewels with original loop attachments to the reverse. Riviere length approximately 290mm, detachable into five sections with late 19th century gold loop fittings to the reverse. Silver mounting with minor abrasions and scratches consistent with age and wear. Two clusters with some discolouration to foil on reverse. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 90.00 - 110.00 carats, of mixed colours, on average SI clarity, a few smaller stones I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Please note that due to the nature of the setting, it is not possible to provide an accurate estimation as to the weight and colours of the diamonds. Evidence of lead solder on reverse. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 161 grams.
