The present lot is now preserved in Patek Philippe sealed bag with factory original seal. Overall in excellent condition. Rare example. Please note that upon export out of Hong Kong, the sealed bag has to be cut opened and alligator strap removed prior to shipping. 5089型號「The Escalade Festivities」為限量發行，紀念1602年日內瓦人對抗薩佛瓦公爵入侵的歷史事件。相傳於十二月的寒冬之夜，公爵的軍隊趁著日內瓦城人民陷入沉睡，意圖攀過城牆發動攻擊。當時一位名為Catherine Cheynel的婦人將一鍋滾燙的湯投向城牆下面的攻擊者，引發了警報才拯救了全城人民。為紀念此事，日內瓦人每年均以巧克力及糖果製作湯鍋形狀的甜品，這每年一連三天的節慶定為「攀城節」，於舊城區舉行列隊駒操、盛裝遊行及民族音樂會，人民上街狂歡，以慶祝四百年前日內瓦人的奮勇英武與抗戰勝利。

百達翡麗的琺瑯師以這名民族女英雄為材，以掐絲琺瑯搭配人手雕刻的背景，將其機敏勇敢刻劃於錶盤之上。此型號限量僅40枚，其珍罕程度媲美5131/175G-001型號日內瓦海港世界時間錶款，此為5089型號首次出現拍場。
