Accompanied by GRS report no. GRS2015-038192, stating that the 8.00 carats colour changing star sapphire is natural, of Burmese origin, withno indication of thermal treatment. For further details, please refer to GRS report. Stamped PT900 for platinum setting. Cabochon sapphire displays distinct colour-change effect from violetish blue in daylight to purple colour in incandescent light. The sapphire further displays clear and centered star upon illumination from penlight. Under 10X magnification, the sapphire shows typical inclusions such as fingerprints, rutile silk and crystal inclusions, not seen with naked eye. Diamonds stated to weigh approximately 2.70 carats, are on average G or H colour, VS to SI clarity as graded in the mount. Metal in very good condition.
