南宋 龍泉窰青釉魚耳瓶

the cylindrical body rising from a low footrim to a canted shoulder sweeping up to a tall cylindrical neck, flanked on each side by a pair of dragon-fish handles, all below a wide everted dished rim with slightly upturned lip, covered overall with a sea-green glaze, draining to a paler tone at the edges, the unglazed hand-pared footrim of a buff colour

The vase is in overall good condition with the exception of a 5mm., oval iron spot to the shoulder, a 6mm., glaze firing imperfection to the rim, a 15mm., long shallow flake to the outside edge of the footring, a 7mm., flake to the inside edge of the footring (possibly contemporary with manufacture) some further minor shallow foot chips, very minor polishing to the rim, minor glaze unevenness and pooling and minor glaze scratches.

此青釉瓶形似砧杵形狀，亦稱紙槌瓶，於日本備受珍重，稱曰「砧青磁」，乃龍泉窰經典瓶式，向為藏家追慕。有學者考據稱，此瓶形源自西亞伊斯蘭國家，如伊朗。可比較一件內蒙遼陳國公主墓出土伊斯蘭琉璃瓶，或產自伊朗東北部內沙布爾，斷代早於1018年，圖見《大觀 北宋汝窰特展展品選》圖錄，國立故宮博物院，台北，2007年，編號25，編號2。1997年印尼印坦古代沉船出土玻璃瓶殘片，形與本瓶相同，該船應為北宋商船。宋人洪邁《夷堅志》記載，徽宗收藏一套番國製琉璃瓶。

如本品紙槌瓶造型，飾雙魚龍耳者，存世甚少，而且器形碩大，更為難得。騰躍飛魚，其形如游龍，元人視為祥兆之物，其雛形或源自中東，隨游牧民族遷徙，經中亞傳入中原。聖彼得堡冬宮藏一件元代雙魚耳金盞，紋飾精細，可與本品類比，展於《The Legacy of Genghis Kahn, Courtly Art and Culture in Western Asia》，大都會藝術博物館，紐約，2002年，頁18，圖11，編號139。

參考其他類例，如Enid and Brodie Lodge舊藏一件，參展數次，包括《Exhibition of Chinese Art》，杜卡勒宮，威尼斯，1954年，編號422，後售於倫敦蘇富比1975年7月8日，編號91；另一開片釉例，屬Warren E. Cox 和 Frederick M. Mayer舊藏，售於倫敦佳士得1974年6月24日，編號61。名古屋出光美術館珍藏一同類瓶例，器形稍小，展於《南宋の青磁 宙をうつす器》，根津美術館，東京，2010年，編號23；可再參考展覽中另外兩例，編號24及25，後者為静嘉堂文庫美術館所藏，東京。Carl Kempe收藏另一例，圖見Bo Gyllensvärd，《Chinese Ceramics in the Carl Kempe Collection》，斯德哥爾摩，1964年，圖版99；另一瓶例，傳為松平治郷舊藏，售於紐約佳士得2008年3月19日，編號561。

傳世紙槌瓶多飾鳳耳，日本博物館收藏五例，展於《南宋の青磁 宙をうつす器》，同上，編號17-22；另一例曾入仇炎之舊藏，售於倫敦蘇富比1980年12月16日，編號300；另一例售於香港蘇富比1994年10月31日，編號530；再參考Linyushanren藏例，售於紐約佳士得2016年9月15日，編號717。

紙槌瓶無耳者，曾出售倫敦蘇富比2006年11月8日，編號54，現屬西泠印社美術館藏，目前借展於哈佛大學美術館 Arthur M. Sackler博物館，波士頓，載於《世界陶磁全集》，卷10，東京，1955年，圖版45。
